Pilot Watch Airspeed

This is the Airspeed pilot's watch from Revue Thommen, equipped with a Unitas low-beat (18,000 BPH) movement.
It's a renowned movement, familiar to watch enthusiasts, serving as the base for movements like Omega's 2201, Panerai's OP, Chronoswiss's 672, and Sinn's SZ04.

The angular Arabic numeral lettering, characteristic of aviation instruments and also found in Zenith and Blancpain watches, is incredibly cool. All hands except the seconds hand are luminescent and glow brightly.
The case, reminiscent of IWC pilot watches with its cylindrical shape, is packed with the Unitas movement, originally designed for pocket watches, yet kept to a case size of 40mm and a thickness of only about 1.1mm. This sets it apart from the oversized, thick watches that have fallen out of trend, and it fits comfortably under a cuff.
Even the Stowa Marine Original, famous for its small-diameter Unitas movement, is 41mm.

The strap is a thick Morellato strap designed for Breitling. When paired with a stitched strap, it can also create an aesthetic similar to an Eberhard Traversetolo.

The original bracelet is included. It's currently sized for a 17.5cm wrist, with room on the buckle side and an extra link, so it should fit up to approximately 19cm.

While silver dials are seen occasionally, this black dial, the quintessential pilot watch, is rarely available. We hope it finds a home with someone looking for a pilot's watch that is exceptional both in appearance and internals.
