50's LONGINES Jamboree Manual Wind Famous Movement Cal. 280 - Working
Thank you for looking.
This is likely a Longines Jamboree from around 1958.
It features the cal. 280, an indispensable timepiece when discussing vintage Longines, and arguably one of the finest hand-wound movements from Longines.
The Jamboree is becoming increasingly rare, and as it was likely produced in limited quantities to begin with, it's perfect for collectors.
There are minor scratches on the crystal, and some stains and wear around the 1-2 o'clock position, but it is currently running well with a daily difference of around 30-40 seconds.
The case size is approximately 33-34mm, and it can still be used actively.
Both the strap and buckle are aftermarket.
