Please read the profile description as it also serves as part of the product description before purchasing.

Slightly shaved, sanded

Size approx. (cm) 72×15×18
*Size is an approximation as the shape is irregular.

Some items have been cut, shaved, or sanded. This process enhances texture, improves appearance, and removes wood dust, powder, and protrusions, offering many benefits. We process driftwood to remove as many negative aspects as possible.

Selection, pruning, light processing
↓
De-tannin (minimum 1 month / with water changes)
Why is de-tannin essential? For example, some types of driftwood are found to be below exhibition quality after de-tannin, so we discard them. The remaining 60% turn out to be excellent. We state that de-tannin is essential because the true quality can only be determined after this process.
↓
Sorting/washing of driftwood that has sunk during de-tannin
?? Items that have sunk will be marked accordingly.
↓
Drying (short period of sun drying / followed by shade drying)
Reason: To prevent re-tanning from sun exposure that occurred during de-tannin.
↓
Processing as needed (cutting/shaving/sanding, etc.)
Final check

Refer to the accompanying objects for size comparison.

?? While some items may stand on their own, please secure them to prevent them from falling. Some items may be photographed leaning against something. Please refer to the images.

*As these are natural items, there may be dirt, cracks, insect damage, remaining insects, etc. There may also be residual sand or a unique driftwood scent. Please only purchase if you understand and accept this. We have processed them as much as possible, but please use them at your own risk.
