Catnip (Nepeta cataria) - 1 seedling - Herb with a scent that cats love - Bare-root seedling

Thank you for viewing.

This is a well-rooted seedling that has overwintered.

Catnip (Nepeta cataria)

Catnip is a popular herb not only with humans but also with cats. It has a similar effect to silver vine, which is why it's also called Western Silver Vine. Its name is said to derive from the word catnip meaning to chew cat.

■ Grown organically without fertilizer for my own cats, so it's safe.

Please grow fresh catnip for your cat to relieve stress!

Dogs seem to like it too~

* When the plant grows to about 20cm, pinch off the tips of the stems to encourage side shoots and a bushier plant.

■ The leaves can be used in soups or as a flavoring for sauces, salads, etc. It is effective for inducing sleep, colds, gastrointestinal disorders, sweating, mental stability, headaches, as a poultice, and for promoting digestion.

※ Do not consume if breastfeeding.

■ Photos ?-? show one seedling.
It will grow faster and larger from now on~

Please refer to the photos for size. It's still a small seedling, but it will grow rapidly.

We do not accept complaints about size, so please enjoy its growth.

Whether they react to it also seems to be related to sexual maturity.
My two cats love it.

Planting catnip around strawberries helps prevent bird damage.

It also reduces damage from aphids and beetles and attracts bees, so it can be used as a companion plant among vegetables.

■ For orders, to maintain moisture, the seedling will be removed from its pot, soil will be brushed off, the roots will be moistened with damp paper towels, and shipped via plant-specific mail (4th class mail) on Sundays to Tuesdays.
