Antique Daidori Sake Bottle, Over 70 Years Old, Katsuura Town, Chiba Prefecture, Lid Not Included

This was found in my great-grandparents' house.
My family home is located in the central part of Kujukuri Beach in Chiba Prefecture.

It is a large ceramic bottle that appears to have once held sake.
The shape is different from current 1.8-liter sake bottles (issho-bin), so the exact capacity is unknown, but it might be around one issho (traditional unit of volume).

The lid is missing.

The words Katsuura Town and Tamagawa Sake Shop are written on the front and back.

It is unclear whether it actually contained sake or was a decorative item from a sake shop, but it is highly likely that it is from the era when Katsuura City in Chiba Prefecture was called Katsuura Town.

There is also a place called Katsuura Town in Wakayama Prefecture, but given the location of my family home, it is more likely to be the Katsuura in Chiba Prefecture.

Researching the history of Chiba Prefecture, Katsuura Town existed from 1890 to 1958, and it became Katsuura City in 1958 with the establishment of a city system.

It has been stored in an outdoor warehouse and is currently covered in dust, but I will give it a quick wash before shipping.
Would this be of interest to someone connected to Katsuura City, someone in the sake business, or perhaps someone who is a successor to Tamagawa Sake Shop from Katsuura Town?

As can be seen in photos 9 and 12, there are slight damages (it's unclear if they are chips or if the rough shaping was intentional) on the underside of the base and the upper part of the opening.
