I tried various things. I feel that there isn't much difference in the number of insects attracted between HID 55w and 35w. It comes down to personal preference.

It uses a cigarette lighter, so it lights up just by plugging and unplugging it from your car.

I think it would be even better if you used it with a white cloth or vinyl sheet spread out to make it brighter.
