SANYO Ladies' Face Shaver for Eyebrows and Fine Hair SVL-A12, previously manufactured and sold by Sanyo Electric.

Purpose: A beauty appliance primarily for shaving fine facial hair and grooming/shaping eyebrows.

Design: Features a compact, pen-shaped (stick-type) design that is convenient for carrying and fits easily into a makeup pouch.

Discontinued (rare retro appliance).

Basic Usage and Tips for a Clean Finish

1. Prepare Your Skin
Wipe off moisture after washing your face. Thoroughly dry your skin, removing any moisture or oil.
If lotion or cream remains, hair may get caught in the blades.
Ensure adequate lighting. Shaving in a dimly lit area can lead to missed spots or injuries.

2. Turn On the Power
Remove the cap.
Pull the cap straight up.
Turn on the power by sliding the switch (blue square slide switch) in the center of the unit upwards. The blades will begin to vibrate finely.

3. Shave the Hair
Gently glide the blades against the skin at approximately a 45-degree angle, moving against the direction of hair growth to avoid damaging the skin.
To achieve a clean finish, hold the skin taut with your free hand while shaving.
Around the eyebrows:
Above the brows: Move from the forehead towards the eyebrows, from top to bottom.
Below the brows: Gently pull down the eyelid with a finger and move from top to bottom, or from the inside to the outside.
Forehead: Move from the hairline towards the eyebrows, from top to bottom.
Cheeks/Face line: Move from the inside (nose side) to the outside (ear side), or from top to bottom.
Around the mouth (upper lip): Stretch the skin by covering your upper lip with your upper teeth, and move from top to bottom.

4. After Use Care
Turn off the power.
Lightly brush off any fine hairs attached to the blades with a brush (avoid washing with water as it can cause malfunction).
Moisturize.
The skin is sensitive after shaving, so be sure to moisturize thoroughly with your usual toner and lotion.
