Description
Shintaro Abe
Ceramic Box with Lemon Pattern, Lidded Container
Purchased several years ago at an exhibition, this is a ceramic piece with a lemon pattern. Each piece is unique as it is hand-painted.
Abe-san's pottery is very difficult to obtain, so each piece holds special memories. However, I feel it's a waste to just admire them, so I'm offering them to someone who will use them.
Approximately 155mm in diameter and 50mm in height.
(Please allow for slight variations.)
I have not used it and have kept it prominently displayed in my cupboard, admiring its cuteness every time I open it.
I think it would be lovely to use for serving candies or chocolates when guests visit, or as a jewelry box.
I will carefully wrap it for shipping.
This item has no significant flaws to note, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor details.
