Alcove Work Highback Sofa

Ronan Bouroullec was born in France in 1971, and Erwan Bouroullec in 1976.

They conduct design activities as Brother. In addition to designing furniture for companies such as Cappellini and Vitra, they are active in a wide range of fields, including product and interior design, such as designing the Paris store for Issey Miyake.

[Vitra/ヴィトラ] is a company that continues to release furniture designed by world-renowned designers and architects. Vitra was founded in Switzerland in 1934 and was initially a manufacturer and seller of store fixtures. In 1957, they acquired the manufacturing and sales rights for Charles & Ray Eames and began producing furniture. While continuously releasing works by world-leading designers such as Mario Bellini, Jean Prouvé, and Jasper Morrison, they also produce reissues of classic furniture masterpieces under license. This sofa was developed with the concept of creating another room within a room, where privacy is maintained. The seat and backrest provide a comfortable seating experience with soft cushioning, and the side and back panels, like partitions, create a private, secure, and secluded space. Additionally, it is equipped with a tablet desk and storage box, allowing for comfortable work.
