【64mm】Sharp-eyed Madagascar Tortoise Beetle Specimen Water Bug
38.28 $
Description
Scientific Name: Lethocerus oculatus
Details are unknown due to insufficient information. However, various giant water bugs inhabit different parts of the world, and although there are differences depending on the natural environment of their habitats, their behavioral patterns are quite similar. Therefore, it is thought that males protect egg masses, similar to other giant water bugs.
This is a Madagascar endemic species.
Body length is 73-79 mm for females and 68-70 mm for males. It resembles Lethocerus cordofanus, but can be distinguished by its arched hind tibiae and large compound eyes.
We apologize, but we do not offer guarantees against deterioration during shipping. The specimen in the image will be sent. My measurement of the body length was 64mm.
Recommended as it comes with the specific epithet!
