Description
Based on online research, the nest on the left appears to be a paper wasp nest. It is extremely large, approximately 17cm in diameter.
The nest on the right is believed to be an early to mid-stage hornet's nest, in the process of forming its flask shape (approximately just under 6cm in diameter). Although difficult to see in the photo, a portion of the rim is bent about 5mm but is not separated. The smaller nest next to it was the part hanging from the center of the opening at the top of the flask. Each was attached separately at the adhesive points.
Both are extremely fragile, so the flask-shaped nest will be sent in a hard case for a baseball signed ball, and the large nest on the left will also be sent in a hard case.
