This is an antique cake stand.
I purchased it about 15 years ago at an antique fair at Kashiwa Takashimaya and have kept it in a glass case without using it.
As a compote dish, it can be used as a cake stand or as an elegant tableware for serving fruit, but its origin and manufacturer are unknown.
There are scuffs on the metal parts due to age, but please understand that it has a patina of time.

The glass part has no noticeable large scratches or chips and is in generally clean condition.
It is a good item with a full antique feel, even as a decorative plate.
Please understand that there may be minor scratches.
