Anise Hyssop Seedling - Also for Dried Flowers

This is a seedling of Anise Hyssop that has been transplanted into a pot and has settled well.

* This Anise Hyssop is a perennial with very strong cold resistance.
Although it is a small plant, it branches profusely. If you pinch it back low, it will grow into a bushy shape.
The first photo shows a single plant in its second year.
I have uploaded photos for reference as the first-year plant is growing well in the entrance where it only gets sun in the morning. ??*.゜

My garden experiences temperatures as low as -12℃ in winter and around 35℃ in summer, but it blooms vigorously every year.

It branches frequently from the base, with flower spikes about 10cm long, producing vibrant purple-blue flowers. In its native North America, it was dried and used as a cold remedy. It is robust and easy to cultivate. It attracts bees as a nectar source.

* Uses:
Flowers can be used as edible flowers to add color to salads. Leaves can be finely chopped and added to salads. Fresh or dried leaves can be used to make a refreshing herbal tea.
Can also be enjoyed as potpourri or dried flowers.
When grown into a bushy shape, it fills gaps in the garden.
* Cultivation:
Prefers full sun to partial shade and moist soil. Cut back spent flower spikes after blooming. Pinching the tips will encourage more flower stems and a greater number of blooms.
