This Wabi scattered bowl set from Hanae Mori is a 5-piece lidded small bowl set from the CHIKI CHIC Japanese tableware gift series, designed by fashion designer Hanae Mori.

● Key Features and Specifications

Size: Approximately 13.0 cm in diameter and 8.8 cm in height including the lid.

Material: Synthetic lacquerware made of phenol resin (synthetic resin) with a urethane coating. Compared to genuine lacquer, it is easier to care for and handle.

Manufacturing: Manufacturing was handled by companies such as Shohwa Lacquerware Industry, which possesses traditional Yamanaka lacquerware techniques.

● Recommended Uses

As the name Chirashi Oke (scattered bowl) suggests, it is perfect for serving individual portions of Chirashi Sushi during New Year's or celebratory occasions. Additionally, it can be used as a lidded small bowl for side dishes like simmered foods, or for serving ozoni (traditional soup), oshiruko (sweet red bean soup), or sweets, depending on your creativity.
