This is more of a shrub than a perennial.

Blooms year-round with sufficient temperature.
Features: Beautiful hydrangea-like flowers bloom on gracefully extending branches. They are gorgeous yet refreshing and have a long blooming period, lasting until late October.

Please cut off the flower spikes promptly after blooming for earlier subsequent blooms.

The flower color appears truly lapis lazuli in the dim light of early evening, making it a highly recommended flower.

Can overwinter outdoors in warmer climates.
This plumbago was grown outdoors in Hawaii, forming a hedge-like growth. In colder regions, it can be planted outdoors during spring and summer, then potted in late autumn to overwinter indoors. It's not as sensitive to cold as foliage plants, making it easy to grow.

Vigorous growth. Occasional liquid fertilizer is needed. A sign for liquid fertilizer is when the leaves turn a lighter green ?? Old leaves will become dry and fall off; it's good to remove them when you notice them.

It can also be used in hanging baskets, and its semi-trailing habit makes for a lovely potted plant.
