The Nitobanguri (Plumbago auriculata) is a plant whose flowers change color from purple to white and has a refreshing jasmine-like fragrance. When in full bloom, the plant is covered with flowers and is commonly sold as a potted plant. In regions where frost is not severe, it can overwinter outdoors.

Cultivation Environment
Place in a location with plenty of sunlight from autumn to spring, and avoid strong sunlight in summer by placing it in partial shade.
For garden planting, a moist location is suitable. Planting in a location protected from the north wind increases the possibility of overwintering outdoors.
Watering
Water when the surface of the potting soil has dried out. It dislikes dryness, so water daily during sunny and dry periods from July to September. Also, it absorbs a lot of water when in full bloom, so be careful not to let it dry out.
For garden-planted plants, water when it has not rained and the soil is dry.
Fertilizer
Apply a slow-release chemical fertilizer at the recommended dosage as a top dressing during the growing season from spring to autumn.
Diseases and Pests
Be aware that scale insects may occur.

Well-draining soil is suitable.
