【Chinese Yellow Banana】
Musella 'lasiocarpa'
Approximately 140 cm above ground
Trunk circumference over 65 cm

As of 5/29
Flowering soon. Recommended for those who want a flowering plant.
Will be removed from sale once flowering begins.

Extra large Chinese Yellow Banana.
Overwintered without protection.
A size rarely seen elsewhere.
15号 (approx. 45cm diameter) pot or larger recommended for pot cultivation.
Expected to flower next season, or possibly this season.

Leaves grow upwards, not drooping, with a unique appearance between a banana and an Augusta.
The mystery leading up to flowering is a must-see.
Recommended as it doesn't grow as large as a banana.
Produces many pups and is rewarding to grow.
Very hardy and low maintenance.

The rhizome is huge, so it will be shipped as a bare-root plant with leaves cut to fit within a 200-size package.
Pups will not be included due to packaging constraints.

*Bananas have large leaves and high water transpiration. Cutting the leaves during transplanting helps reduce root stress until establishment. This is an excellent time for planting in the ground or transplanting.
