This seedling was propagated by cuttings last year and is approximately 10 cm tall above ground. New shoots have emerged this spring.
Last year, after 4 years of planting the sapling, it bore fruit for the first time, and it was very delicious.

Santa Rosa is a representative variety of Japanese plum. The skin is bright red, the flesh is yellow, with a sugar content of 15 degrees, and it is a large fruit weighing 100-150g per piece. It has good flesh texture, moderate acidity, and excellent quality. It is highly self-pollinating, making it ideal as a pollinator for varieties like Sol D'Or and Oishi Wase.
It is a self-fertile variety, meaning it can bear fruit with its own flowers, making it easy to grow at home. It will bear fruit even without a pollinator tree.

We will ship via Nekoposu (Japanese postal service for small packages) by removing some soil from the root ball and wrapping it. Please note that Nekoposu boxes are 3 cm thick, so the root ball will need to be adjusted, but this will not affect its subsequent growth.

Nekoposu typically arrives within 1-3 days, excluding remote islands. For remote islands, delivery may take longer than a week depending on the weather, and the seedling may die. To prevent issues, we kindly ask that you refrain from purchasing if you are in a remote island area. We appreciate your understanding.

The package will be delivered to your mailbox, so please check your mailbox. We have had customers who left the seedling in their mailbox for too long, causing it to die. In case of damage during transit, Mercari will provide compensation. If the product is damaged upon arrival, please take a photo and contact Mercari customer support regarding damaged items. Mercari will investigate. The compensation will result in a cancellation and a refund of the purchase price. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.

Please refrain from purchasing if you are overly sensitive or seeking perfection. I hope for a good flea market experience between amateurs.
