Description

Item Type: Small Bowl

Thank you for viewing!
I am selling a set of two beautiful Japanese ceramic dishes as I am organizing my collection.
These dishes, with their deep green glaze (similar to Oribe ware) and warm texture, will elegantly adorn your everyday dining table.

The set is very well-balanced and perfect for tea time or as side dish bowls for Japanese meals.

[Set Contents & Sizes]

① Embossed Square Small Bowl (Left in photo)
?Width: Approx. 10cm / Height: Approx. 5cm
?Features: The exterior features delicate embossed geometric reliefs (floral and geometric patterns). The interior bottom has an intricate design where you can enjoy a beautiful crystalline glaze (gradation) depending on the light.

② Oribe-style Round Matcha Bowl / Small Bowl (Right in photo)
?Width: Approx. 12cm / Height: Approx. 7.5cm
?Features: Auspicious characters such as 寿 (Kotobuki - longevity/celebration) and 長 (Cho - long) are elegantly drawn in a flavorful handwritten style. The contrast with the boldly applied green glaze is beautiful, and the size is perfect not only as a matcha bowl but also as a bowl for simmered dishes.

[Product Condition]
?There are no noticeable scratches, chips, or cracks, and the overall condition is clean.
?The bottom (foot) retains the rustic texture of the clay, characteristic of the artisan's handwork. Please check the photos for the condition.
(Please purchase only if you understand the characteristics of antique, artist-made, and handmade Japanese ceramics.)

[Shipping]
The items will be carefully wrapped with cushioning materials such as bubble wrap to prevent breakage and shipped anonymously via Mercari delivery.

Immediate purchase is welcome!
Please feel free to comment if you have any questions.
Thank you very much.
