1970's ★ Rolex ★ Buckle 16mm ★ Unused in Original Packaging

This is a 16mm Stainless Steel Rolex Buckle (clasp) that was handled by Rolex Watch U.S.A., Inc., the American subsidiary of Rolex SA in Switzerland, in the 1970s.
The images show a similar item removed from its packaging, but the item for sale is an unused deadstock item still in its original packaging.
It has been stored for several decades in total at a used watch shop and my home. The packaging has scratches and discoloration, but the item inside, as shown in the images, still has its protective plastic film and is in new condition once removed.
I acquired this item over 30 years ago when there were several watch shops within the original Farmers Market in Los Angeles.
I purchased several because they were rare, but I never ended up using them as I didn't have many Rolexes with leather straps, and time passed.
