Precautions for Use:
Ceramics with crazing have a coarser texture and are prone to absorbing oils and food pigments.
Please perform a mezome (rice water treatment) before first use.
How to Perform Mezome Treatment:
1. Fill a large pot with rice washing water. Place a cloth or similar item at the bottom, then put the tableware in.
2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes.
3. Let it cool completely in the pot.
4. Rinse with water, dry thoroughly, and store.
Precautions Before and After Use:
1. Soaking the tableware in water for about 10 minutes before use can further reduce absorption.
2. After use, wash with a soft sponge, dry thoroughly, and then store. Failure to dry properly can lead to mold.
Will be wrapped in bubble wrap, packed in a cardboard box, and shipped via courier.
