Description
Around June, when white flowers bloom, a large number of honeybees gather around this tree. It is said to have been named Bee Bee Tree because you can hear the buzzing of bees when you pass under it during its flowering season. It is well-known as a nectar-producing plant and is very popular among beekeepers.
Sowing: April 2025
Photo taken: May 25, 2026
Flowering is said to take 4-5 years from seedling.
Since it is grown organically, there may be some minor damage from swallowtail butterfly larvae.
We will transfer the seedling to a slightly smaller pot for shipping (due to box size limitations).
Upon arrival, please transplant it into the ground or a larger pot.
How about it as a nectar source for Japanese honeybees?
