This popular variety boasts an overwhelming color and flawless beauty, with extremely small leaves that resemble the fiery red and the fluttering wings of plovers dancing in the air.

■ Rare Cuttings
? Unlike common grafted saplings, there are no unnatural grafting marks at the base.
? It grows into a clean and natural tree shape, making it especially recommended for those who prefer bonsai or natural tree shapes.

■ The Charm and Story of Benichidori
? Named after the vibrant Momiji that sprout all at once in spring, likened to flocks of plovers flying over the water.

? Since ancient times, plovers have been auspicious birds symbolizing good fortune and family safety, depicted in crafts and waka poetry. The small leaves swaying in the wind are full of dynamism, like bright red plovers freely dancing and playing.

? The extremely small leaves that densely cover the branches are like exquisite maki-e lacquerware. It exudes a genuine elegance that will impress even discerning enthusiasts.

■ The Transition of Colors: From Red to Green, A Poem of Shifting Seasons

? Spring
Awakening from winter's slumber, shocking pink to vibrant red leaves unfurl all at once. This is the most brilliant season, like plovers, a spring kigo (season word), dashing through the garden on the new wind.

? Summer
As the seasons change, the redness gradually settles into a deep green (moegi-iro). The fresh green leaves create cool shade under the strong summer sun.

? Autumn
In late autumn, the dormant red veins awaken again. It dyes into a moist and calm crimson or orange, different from the vibrancy of spring, elegantly coloring the end of the year.
