This is a 16mm Stainless Steel Rolex Buckle handled by Rolex Watch U.S.A., Inc., the American subsidiary of Rolex SA in Switzerland, in the 1970s within the United States.
The images include photos of the same product taken after removing it from the package, but the item being sold is unused deadstock with the protective plastic still attached after the package was opened.
It has been stored for a total of several decades in a used watch store and at my home. The package has scratches and discoloration, but the contents are in new condition with the protective plastic attached as shown in the images.
I acquired it over 30 years ago when there were several watch stores in the Farmers Market in Los Angeles.
I bought several because they were rare, but I never ended up using them as I didn't have many Rolexes with leather straps, and time passed.
