Nordic Style 70s Antique Masatoshi Sakae Design [Deep Plate / Tonkatsu Bowl Set of 3] A1

This is a set of 3 hand-painted deep plates/tonsuis designed by Masatoshi Eki, a ceramic artist selected as one of the 10 World Designers by the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza, Italy, who passed away in 2019.
These are from the 1970s and are no longer in production. They are 50-year-old vintage items.

[Size]
Diameter: 11cm (13.8cm including the handle)
Height: 4cm

These items were stored long-term at my parents' home but are unused.
They have been stored in a dark place, so there are no noticeable stains or dirt, but there are individual differences due to being hand-painted. Please purchase with an understanding that these are vintage items.

*As these are ceramics, they have kannyu (crazing). Kannyu refers to the fine crack patterns that form on the glaze surface during the cooling process after firing, due to differences in the shrinkage rates between the ceramic body and the glaze. This does not affect the strength of the vessel and has been enjoyed as a beautiful pattern since ancient times.

We kindly ask that those seeking perfect items like modern products refrain from purchasing.

We look forward to your purchase.
