Suitable planting locations: Kanto region to Okinawa (safer to keep indoors during winter in cold regions)
Heat tolerance: Strong
Disease resistance: Strong
Drought tolerance: Strong
Salt tolerance: Yes

This variety produces red flowers about 10cm long. Unlike common bottlebrush trees, it has a strong year-round blooming habit and flowers profusely, producing abundant spike-like blooms like a bottle brush.

Furthermore, unlike the common bottlebrush tree, which has a glossy, stiff foliage typical of evergreen trees, Dawson River has soft, flexible branches and leaves, with a refreshing green leaf color.

It grows quickly and makes a striking tree, making it recommended as a specimen tree! It can also be pruned to create a hedge or used as a privacy screen. The flowers can also be enjoyed as cut flowers.?.*?
