Thai Celadon ware is a traditional celadon porcelain with a history of about 700 years, mainly produced in Chiang Mai. It is characterized by its beautiful jade-like green color and fine cracks (crazing) on the surface, and its thick, sturdy construction using natural glazes is appealing. It is an elegant and easy-to-use tableware that is popular as a souvenir.

Main characteristics of Celadon ware:
Color and texture: Light green (natural green) is famous, but blue tones are also popular. The surface is glassy and smooth, with properties similar to glass.
Crazing: Delicate crack patterns on the surface that deepen in color over time as tea stains and oils seep into the cracks with long-term use.
Raw materials and manufacturing: It is a hard ceramic fired at high temperatures of over 1,200 degrees Celsius using only northern Thai soil and wood ash glaze.
Usage: Many items are dishwasher and microwave safe, but not oven safe.
