Description
Thank you for viewing my listing among so many others.
Natural Wood
Rice Tub (Ohitsu)
Unused.
This is a relatively large rice tub.
I received it from a relative, but I don't think I'll be able to use it, so I'd like to pass it on.
Natural Wood
Lacquer Coating
I once soaked it in water to confirm it was natural wood.
It floated, of course.
The white areas you see are reflections of light.

Please forgive any slight errors.
Natural wood absorbs excess moisture, regulating the moisture content of rice, which is said to keep it delicious even when cold.
I believe it is a beautiful item with no particular defects.
As it has been stored for a long time, please excuse any minor scuffs.
This is a storage item from a private home.
We ask for purchases from those who understand this.
Thank you very much.
