【Not for Sale - High-Grade Metalwork】Zuihō Saku Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly Chairman Ichiro Kawano Commemorative Vermilion Ink Pad Holder Chrysanthemum Crest Cast Iron

Thank you for viewing.
This is a high-quality cinnabar ink case (vermilion ink holder) made by the metal artist and metal craft brand Zuisho, featuring a magnificent chrysanthemum crest.
The back is engraved with Ichiro Kono, Speaker of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly, making it a very rare, non-sale commemorative item and antique distributed to related parties at the time.
It is a beautiful piece with a substantial metallic feel and a meticulously carved, three-dimensional chrysanthemum design covering the lid.
[Product Condition]
- As this is a long-term storage item, the outer metal parts show the patina of age unique to vintage items (slight scuffs, discoloration, etc.), which contributes to its good, old-fashioned character.
- The cinnabar ink inside may be dried due to age, so it is recommended to enjoy it as a historical collection, a decorative item for calligraphy or antiques (small item container), or by replenishing the ink.
[Size]
Diameter: approx. 7.8 cm
Height: approx. 3.0 cm
How about it for your collection, interior decoration, or practical use?
