Inima Pottery Studio Tomoko Suzuki Deep Bowl (White Ash Glaze)

Used only once.
It's a truly wonderful item, but I'm reluctantly letting it go due to space constraints.

Purchased for 4730 yen (excluding shipping).

The following is quoted from the official page of Inima Pottery Studio:

New Color: White Ash Glaze Deep Bowl
A slightly grayish white, close to off-white.
At first glance, it looks white, but it's slightly off.
It's like the white ash that remained as a solid after complete combustion and bonding with oxygen.
We named it White Ash Glaze.

The round silhouette without a pedestal, with its depth,
seems to further enhance the color and texture of the White Ash Glaze.
We wanted to apply the desired color to a simple, universal shape.

It has depth, so it holds a generous amount of noodles.
The narrow opening keeps it hot until the last bite, as it cools down slowly.
It is finished to ensure a smooth taste when sipping the broth.

The raised rim provides depth, making it easy to scoop.
Please use it all year round.

We focused on color and texture,
applied multiple layers of glaze,
and aimed for a texture and depth reminiscent of a painting on Japanese paper.

As this is a molded vessel, there may be slight individual differences in the shape after firing.

◎ It is fine to warm it up in the microwave.
(Please be careful of heat when removing.)
