Description
This is wood ash (from Kagoshima).
It is a natural raw material that can be used as a glaze ingredient in pottery.
It has been levigated and de-ashed, so it can be used as is.
When tested in typical pottery classes under oxidation firing (1230℃～1240℃), it melted to some extent even when used alone.
If you are working individually, 100g is enough to prepare more than 10 test pieces.
Notes:
1. For beginners using wood ash glaze, we recommend applying a thin coat first.
2. The wooden bowl in the image is not included.
3. The weight will be measured and repackaged into a bag for shipping.
4. The melting behavior is for reference only. This is because it depends on the overall results, such as the clay body, the combination of other ingredients, and variations in kiln temperature.
