Description
This is a set of two SUMITOMO FIX-PERFECT cutting tools, model number VDCL44-5.
These are specialized cutting tools called Fix perfect designed for curved surface machining and tracing operations.
Note: These are left-hand cutting tools. They can only be used for special applications on general-purpose lathes.
Sold individually.
I purchased these used for use on a NC lathe, but no longer need them as I have learned to make my own carbide brazed cutting tools.
They show some signs of use, but both are in like-new condition. There are no impact marks.
Both tips have a new corner, but the opposite corner on both is chipped. For shipping, the tips will be removed or attached with the chipped side facing up to prevent damage during transit.
Outer box and hex wrench are not included.
