[AI Summary]
Goryoshi (御料紙) is a gorgeous, high-quality decorative Japanese paper processed with techniques such as dyeing, sand scattering, and gold/silver leaf, designed for kana calligraphy. It is primarily used for kana calligraphy, which inherits the aesthetic sensibilities of the Heian period, as well as for fair copies of ink wash paintings and haiga. Its characteristic is that it absorbs ink well and beautifully expresses the movement of the brush.
