France Nice 7 Postcard Set Musée Masséna Southern France Winter Resort

This is a set of 7 official postcards purchased at the Musée Masséna in Nice, Southern France, in 2002.

These are valuable deadstock items from over 20 years ago, but they have been carefully stored as part of a collection, so there is no fading or staining, and they are in excellent condition, even on the back.

[Product Features]
Six of the seven postcards have the official Musée Masséna logo (crest design) printed on the back, and are the older specification from that time without barcode printing.
Only one postcard (L'HIVER à NICE - Winter in Nice) has a barcode on the back.
The set features beautiful vintage art (affiches) depicting the glamorous golden age of Nice, including carnivals from the late 1800s to 1934.
Both L’Hiver à Nice and Carnaval de Nice 1934 are tourist posters promoting Nice as a warm and comfortable winter resort.
At the time, the South of France was a popular resort destination for travelers from colder regions, and the posters emphasize the bright climate where flowers bloom even in winter, as well as the festive atmosphere. Nice, in particular, held a special status as a winter resort.

With their classic design, simply framing them and hanging them on the wall will instantly give your room a French vintage atmosphere.
These are cards with a story, acquired by visiting the local museum.
