This is a vintage birthday card featuring a silhouette of a man and woman with a small dog, and a blue gift box, set against a pale beige background. The black silhouettes are combined with pastel pink ribbons and pale blue accents, creating an elegant and charming design typical of American vintage from the 1930s-1950s. The cover reads A Gift for your Birthday, and the layout, reminiscent of a gift tag, is also appealing.

The intricate details, such as the woman's dress, the dog's collar, and the gift box ribbon, allow you to enjoy the atmosphere of fashion illustrations from that era. While the colors are subdued, the pink and blue provide a nice accent, making it a piece that adds atmosphere even when simply displayed. It is also recommended for use in collages, junk journals, or as a prop for photography.

Opening the card reveals an illustration of a small dog carrying a gift, along with a message in English. The warm message, wishing you the best birthday ever, contributes to the gentle ambiance of the design. The inside also features floral patterns and line decorations consistent with the cover, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship down to the smallest details.

The back of the card indicates MADE IN U.S.A. and shows signs of age such as discoloration, stains, scuffs, and paper creasing, which are characteristic of vintage items. The back, in particular, has discoloration and writing marks, but these are part of the unique charm of paper items that have passed through many years. This item is recommended for those who love overseas vintage items, paper goods, and retro greeting cards.
