? Product Description

maruni is one of the top brands in Japanese woodworking furniture.
They create furniture that continues to be loved as classics for the next 100 years.
The founder, Takeo Yamanaka, was fascinated by the wonder of wood in Miyajima, Hiroshima Prefecture, where traditional crafts using wood transformed into various shapes as if by magic. He later established the wood bending technique, which was technically difficult at the time.
He aimed for industrial production of furniture through division of labor, not by the hands of craftsmen, with the motto of industrialization of crafts, for the Japanese furniture industry, which had previously been limited to handicraft.
