Japanese Vintage Showa Retro Nichihan Console Table Side Table Telephone Stand

Size: Width 36cm Depth 30cm Height 80cm
Drawer Interior Dimensions: Width 22.5cm Depth 20cm Height 5.5cm

This console table by Nichihan features a calm and appealing presence, typical of Japanese furniture from the Showa era.

Originally used as a telephone stand, its neat size makes it suitable for modern use as a console table in entryways, hallways, or small empty spaces in living rooms. Despite its compact width of 36cm and depth of 30cm, its beautiful balance with a height of 80cm allows you to instantly enhance your space by simply placing small items, a vase, a clock, a lamp, or seasonal decorations on the top.

The turned legs and the understated yet elegant design of the drawer are also attractive, showcasing the warmth of Showa retro style and the meticulous craftsmanship unique to Japanese furniture. The lower shelf provides convenient storage and display space, making this piece both visually appealing and practical.

While there are signs of age such as scuffs, minor scratches, and a patina from time, these are considered part of the charm of furniture that has endured for many years, deepening the atmosphere of this item. Recommended for those who love vintage items and wish to create a Showa retro or classical space. There is no major damage that would impede its use, and it can still be utilized for a long time to come.
