French Antique Wooden Volley Partition Room Divider Extra Large Shipping Included

Thank you for looking.

This is a rare French antique wooden vollet partition for sale.
It has a brown wooden base with blue-toned paint, and its unique color and texture due to aging are very attractive.
The painted surface is quite delicate, so vigorous rubbing may cause the paint to peel off.
There is also some warping of the wood due to age. (As shown in the photos, it stands on its own and is fine for use.)

Why not add this impressive vollet to your home, shop, or event space?

[Acquisition History]
About 20-30 years ago, when a flower shop in Ginza opened, the owner purchased French antique furniture, including this partition.

After the shop closed, it went to an Australian woman living in Japan who was acquainted with the owner. I received it from her just before her visa expired.

The last photo shows the space where the Australian woman initially displayed the many antiques she bought from the flower shop. Just before leaving Japan, she rented an empty storefront in a shopping street and held a sale. I purchased the partition and a chest of drawers from her at that time.

I loved it and took great care of it, but I am reluctantly selling it because my new home is too small.

There are many damages such as scratches, chips, dirt, and paint peeling on the wood, but we hope you will enjoy them as part of the antique charm.
