Set of 2 antique flower frogs (kenzan) with beautiful rust

These are antique flower holders purchased as a set of two for 5,000 yen at an antique shop. You use them by leaning flowers against the holes. Unlike kenzan (flower frogs), they allow you to arrange flowers without damaging the stems. When you stack two to create height, they can firmly support long flowers. By slightly offsetting the two when stacked (as shown in image 2), you can adjust the size of the holes, making it harder for flowers to fall over. They are also recommended for arranging branches like azaleas.

I often used these when arranging flowers and branches in sake pitchers and large bowls bought from antique stores. Since they cannot be used individually and are designed to hold flowers when stacked, they cannot be sold separately.
