There is a small crack in the center of the blade.
There are no chips, and we did not feel any issues while sharpening, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.

The ura-suki (hollow grind on the back) has been preserved during polishing, making it easier for you to sharpen it yourself in the future.
