Description
This is a double-edged usuba (thin-bladed) knife from Kyoto's Aritsugu (ARITSUGU), founded in Eiroku 3 (1560).
Aritsugu knives are high-end, known as Aritsugu in the West, Masamoto in the East (if cared for, they can last a lifetime).
This is a relatively small and easy-to-use size (18.0 cm).
It has been stored in its box for a long time with very little use. The outer box has some scuffs and stains, but the knife itself shows no scratches.
Includes the original blade cover and instruction manual.
