I believe it is a gyuto (chef's knife).

The handle is also made of stainless steel, so it is dishwasher safe.
I bought this as a replacement because the handle of my favorite knife broke.
I used it for about 2 years, but
since I was finally able to repair my favorite knife,
this knife is no longer needed, so I am listing it for sale.

It can be used as is, but
it has not been sharpened properly, so
please sharpen it before use.
