★What are Hydroballs?
Hydroballs, used in hydroponics, are ball-shaped stones made by firing expanded clay at high temperatures. They are also known as expanded porous stones.
Each stone has many small pores that hold air, supplying oxygen to the plant roots.
★How to Use Hydroballs
Hydroballs can be used basically the same way as regular soil.
First, fill a planter or container without drainage holes to about 2/3 of its height with hydroballs, and then plant your plant after thoroughly removing the soil from its roots.
Once the plant's position is set, add more hydroballs to fill the container.
You can use a regular planter, but glass containers that allow you to see the contents are also recommended for their aesthetic appeal.
