Nordic Vintage Danish Writing Bureau Teak with Mirror

Writing bureau made of teak wood from Denmark, Northern Europe.

Teak wood used in this product is characterized by its hardness, sturdiness, and water resistance, and is considered one of the world's three most famous hardwoods, alongside walnut, which is highly impact-resistant and workable, and mahogany, which is easy to work with and extremely rare.

In 19th-century Europe, it was widely used as a material for ships, and in the 20th century, it was used in the interior of the luxury liner Queen Elizabeth 2 and the luxury train Orient Express.
The strength and beauty of teak wood can be seen from its use in famous luxury liners and luxury trains.

Furniture made with vintage teak is becoming increasingly scarce year by year, leading to soaring prices.
While furniture made with teak wood is still available for purchase new, the color and luster cannot compare to the presence of vintage items.

Furthermore, the product being offered not only has a pull-out top, but the underside of the top can also be used as a mirror when flipped over. This is a compact design that takes into account modern housing conditions, yet serves two purposes, making it extremely useful.

There are dents, scratches, and chips from use, but it is still in working condition.

Key is not included.
