【Wako】 Hokkaido Traditional Craftsmen's Writing Bureau - Folk Craft Style, Antique Style

This is a writing bureau from Hokkaido Traditional Crafts Wako.
It is a historic folk craft furniture, characterized by its calm, deep wood color and substantial presence.

Hokkaido's traditional craft furniture is made from high-quality wood grown in harsh cold regions and boasts advanced woodworking techniques, earning it high praise as durable and long-lasting furniture.
It possesses a warmth and presence that modern furniture lacks, and its charm grows with age and use.

This is a highly practical writing bureau that can be used as a desk by opening the top section and also offers ample storage.
It can be beautifully used not only in studies or living rooms but also as shop fixtures or display furniture.

While there are minor scratches and scuffs due to age, as well as some tarnish on the metal fittings, the overall condition is good, and it can be considered relatively beautiful for its age.
There are some stains and discoloration inside, but they do not affect its use.
There is no major damage or wobbling, and it can still be used for many years to come.
