Hokutolite is famous as a Natural Medicinal Stone, but it is also said to have strong effects for warding off bad luck and evil spirits.

For warding off bad luck and evil spirits, Morion, Obsidian, and Onyx are known as the Black Triad and are considered the strongest. Among these, the stones said to have even stronger effects for dispelling negative energy and warding off evil spirits than the highly renowned Morion are, in order: Tiger's Eye, Hokutolite, and Shungite.

Of course, their characteristics, roles, and origins are entirely different, so it's best to choose based on your specific needs. However, this is a rare stone that serves two roles: as a medicinal stone and as a stone for warding off bad luck.
