This is a hat from Kromer Cap Co. This cap is made of tough cotton canvas that is resistant to sparks and highly absorbent. The design is a vintage item made in Milwaukee from the 1970s to the 1990s. This cap features a deep crown and a short brim. It's still popular among bikers and mechanics, who wear it under their helmets. The short brim also allows for a flip-up style, where the brim is tilted upwards. Made from sturdy cotton, it ages beautifully, with the black fading to a desirable ink black hue with use. This black cotton cap with the Milwaukee Made Tag (759 N. Milwaukee St.) is a gem from the era when Kromer Cap Co. was seriously making tools for American workers, not the current fashion brand Stormy Kromer. Condition No holes or tears.
