Showa Retro Kansai Hibachi Long Hibachi With Copper Stove & Sake Warmer Old Folk House Furniture Natural Wood innocence

Thank you for looking.

This is a very atmospheric antique Kansai hibachi (charcoal brazier). It was used in my family home, but due to a rebuild, I have to part with it. I hope someone can use it.

Product: Long hibachi (Kansai hibachi, irori table)
Included: Everything in the first photo is included in this listing. A copper kama (kettle) & sake warmer, brass fire tongs, and a stainless steel ash rake are included. Before listing, I filled the kama & sake warmer with water and left it for 24 hours, and there were no leaks.

Material: Wood (Based on weight and grain, I believe it is zelkova. The inside of the drawers appear to be cedar. Please judge from the photos.)
Size: Width 810mm, Depth 490mm, Height 380mm, Weight approximately 25kg (Please allow for slight errors as these are amateur measurements.)

As this is an antique item, it naturally has signs of age, such as wear, scratches, dirt, and discoloration. However, I hope you will use it and experience the charm of old tools from the past.

The kama & sake warmer are placed inside the irori. Using the heat from charcoal, you can boil water by placing a kettle on a stove (or trivet), or fill the sake warmer with water to warm sake. I believe the true appeal of this hibachi cannot be fully realized without these accessories. The first photo was taken with the assumption that there is ash, so a tissue box is placed vertically to raise the height.
