*About Hokkaido Mingei Furniture
The company has since changed, and the finishing methods have also changed,
so it is no longer established as Mingei furniture.
Only Hokkaido Mingei furniture manufactured by the former company, Kuraray Interior,
features a dye-based finish instead of the current urethane coating,
making it a piece of traditional Mingei furniture.
