Description
Thank you for looking.

This is a listing for Couque de Dinant, the world's hardest baked biscuit and a specialty of Dinant, Belgium.

I purchased this at the patisserie Jacobs in the town of Dinant.

The history of this Dinant specialty, Couque de Dinant, is ancient. Its origins lie in a flat biscuit made by ancient Romans with rye flour, honey, and sheep's cheese. It is said that in the Middle Ages, bakers in Dinant improved the recipe, and it came to be made only with wheat and honey.

The item listed here has a hole in it for use as a Christmas ornament.

The sizes are:
The item on the far left in the photo is approximately 17.5 cm x 9 cm x 0.8 cm.
The item in the middle is approximately 7.8 cm x 7.8 cm x 0.8 cm.
The item on the far right is approximately 12.5 cm x 14.7 cm x 0.8 cm.

Although it has been some time since I purchased them, they still have a pleasant honey aroma and are not damaged.
I am listing these for display purposes only. If you choose to bite into them, please do so at your own risk.
